In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Content
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
